Sheila Spence Lineberry, 70, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, April 15, 2023.

Born on May 15, 1952, in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Joseph Spence and Lorene Clark Spence.

She was preceded in death by son-in-law Tim Weeks.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, J.R. Lineberry; three children, Andrea Lineberry Weeks, Neal Lineberry (Amy), and Margaret Lineberry Strong (Peter); grandchildren, Hannah W. Fine (Caleb), John L. Weeks (Madison), Abigail Lineberry, Madelyn Lineberry, Peyton Camden, and Sailor Strong; great-grandchildren, Cole and Hunter Fine and Lincoln Burns; sisters, Peggy Spence Brennan (Fred) and Teresa Spence Mullen; brother, Gary E. “Crow” Spence; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend Lois Ayres.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Louis Caddell officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 20,  at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice.
