STACEY HENDERSON

STACEY HENDERSON

Stacey Cash Henderson, 60, of Natural Bridge, entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

Born in Glasgow, she was the daughter of Julia “Judy” Lotts Cash and the late William Calvin “Jeter” Cash.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by many family members, including her grandmother Pinkie Lotts, who especially impacted her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, John L. Henderson Jr., whom she adored. They both have such a gift of hospitality and made everyone feel welcome that came into their home.

Also surviving are her mother, Judy Lotts Cash, with whom she shared her favorite hobby of going to yard sales every Saturday; sister, Carolyn Jones; brother, Michael Cash (Lisa); stepchildren, Hayley Propsner (Jesse), John “Allen” Henderson (Lauren), Stephany Shayeghi (Neel), and Thomas Henderson; step-grandchildren, Nessa, Ave, Farah, Maryam, Caspar, Mona, Lily and a new baby expected in July; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved dog Frank.

Stacey had a love for “all things Hokie”! She had a generous heart and loved her family more than words can express. Stacey was a friend to many but had many close and special friends that she faithfully kept in contact with. She was kind to every person she met and had a passion for pouring into the lives of all of her family and friends.

Stacey spent the last 28 years of her career working at HostmyCalls where she helped thousands of customers tackle complex telecommunications issues. At HostMyCalls, she earned a reputation among the hundreds of sales agents as someone who could solve any problem. Her contributions and friendship will be massively missed.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jerry Eggers. Interment will follow at Glasgow Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to American Heart Association in honor of Stacey.

Stacey will be remembered fondly by everyone whose life she touched.“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”- Proverbs 31:25, 31 NIV.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory. N-G
