Faye loved singing classic songs and hymns. She was an avid ballroom and line dancer. Faye had a significant green thumb and at one point even had a database for all her orchids! She loved feeding and watching the birds from her dining room window.
Moving from Rockbridge to Waldorf, Md., in 1967, she remained there until the mid 1980s when she moved to Boonsboro, Md., and from there to Berkeley Springs, W.Va., where she stayed until 2008 before moving back to Rockbridge County where she lived for the remainder of her days.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Buena Vista Baptist Church Music Department and the Maury River Senior Center in Buena Vista.
A celebration of her life is in the planning stages.
Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory. N-G
