She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Wills; her brothers, Kenneth W. Wills and Larry Wills; mother-in-law, Frances Reinhold and father-in-law, Edgar D. Reinhold Sr.

Joanne is survived by her husband of 51 years, Edgar D. Reinhold Jr.; their daughters and son-in-laws, Tori and Scott Noon, Mitzi and Aaron Hammer; as well as her five grandchildren, the lights of her life, Luke, Lance and Wills Noon and Lela and Cora Hammer. Joanne is also survived by her youngest brother, Ronald Wills and his wife, Sandy Wills; sister-inlaw, Ann Wills and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A private celebration of life for her immediate family will be held at Bayside Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach.

The family would like to thank the capable and attentive staff at the UVA Medical Center and their compassionate oncology team. The staff at Anthology of Charlottesville and the care team from the Hospice of the Piedmont also provided a kind and dignified end of life journey for Joanne.
