TOMMY FOX
TOMMY FOX
Most people knew him as “Tommy,” the man who could fix almost anything. He worked as a mechanic his whole life. After retiring he could be seen helping his friends and family with building projects, car repairs, lawn care, you name it.
Surviving are his parents, Bobby and Patricia Steele Fox of South Carolina; his wife of 35 years, Dreama Ayers Fox; four children, Paul Thomas, Logan, Andrew and Madison; his brother Chris and sister Pam.
He enjoyed spending time with his family either at the pool, camping, the beach or even Sunday afternoons on the porch. Let’s not forget all the times spent with his boys in the garage helping with all sorts of projects (and how much he adored his little girl). He will be remembered as an awesome Dad, husband and friend to so many. His laid back attitude and his smiling face will be missed dearly.
A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Volpe officiating. Burial will follow at Kerrs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Harrison Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to Kerrs Creek Baptist Church, Kerrs Creek Fire Department, Rockbridge Baths Fire Department or Lexington Fire Department.
Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory. N-G
