Thursday, 9:15 a.m. - A winter weather system brought a lot of rain overnight and into this morning, as well as some freezing rain in the higher elevations.
County schools are running on a two-hour delay this morning in anticipation of icy conditions, and BARC is reporting 106 customers in Rockbridge County without power this morning.
Today's wintry weather is apparently just a prelude to the winter weather predicted for early next week. Stay tuned.
