Jon Douglas Alexander, 83, of Lexington, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at his home.

Born July 4, 1941, he was a son of Joyce Hite Alexander and Elizabeth Miller Alexander. Also preceding him in death were his siblings, Lillian, Carmen, Thomas, James and Robert.

He was a local builder/contractor for several years. Then he became a Greyhound Bus driver where he retired after 16 years.

Surviving him are his loving wife of 64 years, Eleanor Powell Alexander; a brother, Joyce Hite Alexander Jr.; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Per Jon's request, there will be no service.
