Pammie Faye (Cousins) Jarvis, 60, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, in Fauquier Hospital.

Pammie was born in Harrisonburg on March 24, 1964, and was a daughter of the late Velma Mae (Strawderman) Burgandine and Willie Houston Cousins Sr.

She was a graduate of Buffalo Gap High School.  She grew up in the Deerfield Baptist Church Community.  Pammie was a heavy equipment operator for Virginia Paving until her health declined.  Previously she was employed by Moore Brothers and United MarJon.  Pammie enjoyed watching birds of all sorts.  She loved to travel, and had visited many states across the nation with her husband. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; and a sister, Sandy Golladay.

Surviving are her husband, Mark Jarvis; son Travis Jarvis; stepson Justin Sorrells; her stepfather, Roy Burgandine; three sisters, Margaret Reedy, Barbara Cousins and Sharon Hoover; two brothers, Willie Cousins Jr. and Bobby Cousins; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the chapel of Bear Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Deerfield CommunityCemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at 12:30.
