Donald Hankins Brown, 86, widower of Mary Rose (Walker) Brown, formerly of Cardinal Street, Staunton, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, at The Regency at Augusta in Fishersville.

Ronald Lee Brown, a native of Lexington, died on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Word has been received of the death last week of William D. “Bill” McHenry, who was the director of athletics and chairman of the department of physical education at Washington and Lee University from 1971 to 1989. He was living in South Carolina.
