Former Virginia Military Institute superintendent Lt. Gen. Josiah Bunting III greets a guest at a ceremony last month recognizing his recent contributions to VMI’s archives. Twenty-six containers of Bunting’s papers, ranging from his time as a VMI cadet in the 1960s through 2020, were donated to VMI. With little discussion Monday, the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors approved a general fund budget for fiscal year 2024 that includes equalized real estate and personal property car tax rates.
State Diversity Officer Speaks At VMI Event
If nothing else, the YMCA of Virginia’s Blue Ridge has a serious public relations problem with regards to our local branch, the Rockbridge Area YMCA. Two actions the YVBR has taken this year has left us and many Rockbridge area citizens wondering if our local Y has lost all vestiges of control of our local Y’s operations.
