United Way Notes Results Of State Report

Following the April 15 incident in which a fugitive used a weapon on himself during a police pursuit, the April 19 article stated that the weapon was a gun. It was actually a knife, according to the Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office.

The following individuals were indicted by a Rockbridge County grand jury on May 1: Morgan Taylor Allman, 26, for one count of perjury on Aug. 27, 2022.

Children who will be enrolling in kindergarten at a Virginia public school are required to have a physical and immunizations prior to entering the classroom. Donations Sought For Afterschool Arts Program

The three Rockbridge area jurisdictions are closing this week on a purchase of land that is to be the future site for the Rockbridge Area Department of Social Services. The site is behind the Food Lion in Buena Vista, at the intersection of U.S. 60 (East Midland Trail) and Va. 608 (Forge Road).

The Rockbridge County High School and Goshen communities are joining the family in mourning the death of a RCHS senior in a single-vehicle crash.
