Following the April 15 incident in which a fugitive used a weapon on himself during a police pursuit, the April 19 article stated that the weapon was a gun. It was actually a knife, according to the Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office.
The following individuals were indicted by a Rockbridge County grand jury on May 1: Morgan Taylor Allman, 26, for one count of perjury on Aug. 27, 2022.

Donations Sought For Afterschool Arts Program
