Gateway Garden Dedicated

Main Street Lexington dedicated its new Gateway Triangle Garden with a ribbon cutting last Tuesday, Aug. 29. On hand were representatives from Main Street Lexington, the city of Lexington, Washington and Lee University, Virginia Military Institute, Lexington Garden Club, the chamber of commerce, the Community Foundation for Rockbridge, Bath and Alleghany, and architects Arthur Bartenstein of ABL Landscape Architecture and Walter Garrett of Garrett Landscapes. Pictured are (front row) Jeff Hughes, Rebecca Logan, Arthur Bartenstein, Frank Friedman, (back row) Lynn Leech, Emilie Davis, Tracy Lyons, Kasey Potter, Celia Raney, Chuck Smith, Jim Halasz, Steve McAllister, Steve Grist, Jeffrey Boobar and Walter Garrett.
